Today’s Feature Friday spotlights our first retail partner in New York: Grahame Fowler. The store is located in the Greenwich Village in New York City. The universally revered designer, after whom the shop is named, markets his brand as being “established” in 1956—the year he was born. Graham Fowler offers a unique selection of menswear and accessories, including an impressive selection of vintage wear and timepieces. The store’s decor—which includes British flags and classic bicycles—incorporates Fowler’s background and interests. Prior to owning and operating his own store, Grahame Fowler co-founded the popular Robert Graham brand.
The Greenwich Village—or simply “The Village”—is located on the west side of Lower Manhattan. NYU is located in Greenwich Village. Many films and television shows have been set in The Village, including FRIENDS and Mad Men. Marc Jacobs, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anderson Cooper, and numerous other celebrities have called The Village home. Greenwich Village has been the birthplace of several significant cultural movements in the United States.
