We’re excited to introduce our new Vertical Stripe socks. Since our founding, we’ve carried a wide selection of socks with horizontal stripes. We recently decided to knit some socks with the stripes running in the opposite direction. The results were even better than we expected.
These Black with Ash and Navy with Blue socks represent the first run of Dapper Classics socks with vertical stripes. These new styles are the perfect combination of bold and classic, making them a must-have for any man who appreciates fine Made in USA socks. Both styles are available in over-the-calf and mid-calf fits.
Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Washington, D.C.: Sherman Pickey. Located in Georgetown, the store opened in 2003. The shop carries men’s and women’s clothing and accessories that can be described as classic with a modern flair. The store, named after the owners’ pets, welcomes their customers’ animals. In fact, you can find a water bowl on the store’s steps and dog treats at the counter. Sherman Pickey has been recognized as one of the top boutiques in D.C.
Washington D.C. became the nation’s capitol on July 16, 1790. The city is the center for the three branches of the federal government and is home to many national monuments and museums. The District has a thriving arts community and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. Washington D.C., a planned city, was designed by Pierre Charles L’Enfant.
We’re excited to introduce our new Skull & Crossbone socks. For some, the Skull & Crossbone symbolizes eternal life. For others, the Skull & Crossbone represents the logo of a fraternity, secret society, or military organization. While it has many meanings, the Skull & Crossbone universally stands for classic style – it will never be out of fashion.
These new Skull & Crossbone patterned socks come in Black & White and Tan & Black. Both styles are available in over-the-calf and mid-calf fits.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been releasing styles from our new Spring 2015 Sock Collection. Now that Spring is officially here, we’d like to formally introduce these socks. The Spring 2015 Collection represents a number of “firsts” for Dapper Classics. While we remain committed to timeless fashion, we wanted to offer our customers something new, something fresh. With that in mind, we designed a collection of socks unlike anything we’ve offered before. We’re very excited to introduce these new styles.
Nautical Socks – Spring means warmer weather. Warmer weather means time near the water. Our new Anchor and Sailboat socks are for those times when your mind is on the water, but your feet are on dry land. Each style comes in three unique colorways.
Raker Socks – Over the last few years, customers have occasionally asked us if Dapper Classics was ever going to offer Argyle socks. Your voices were heard. These new Raker socks resemble the pattern of a traditional Argyle sock. Fans of this look will be happy to know that we’re working on a collection of Wool Argyles for Fall 2015.
Birdseye & Grenadine Socks – Solid socks are always classic. However, there are some times when you want to wear a sock that functions as a Solid but also has some flair. Our new Birdseye and Grenadine socks are perfect for these situations. These socks feature subtle, stylish patterns that add texture and personality to a traditional Solid look.
Crest Socks – The term “crest” has many meanings. For example, “crest” can be defined as a highest point or level. A “crest” can also stand for a person’s family or group allegiance. Taken into consideration these meanings, we like to think these new Crest socks symbolize a person’s commitment to high style. These preppy socks are a nice way to remind yourself and others that you know “Dapper is in the Details.”
*Pair these new Made in USA socks with our new American-made Trousers for a stylish Spring look.

Pilgrim’s Progress Clothing has been supplying the people of Plymouth with fine clothing and accessories for 35 years. The store carries a carefully selected collection of men’s and women’s attire that emphasizes comfort, value, and timeless style.
Plymouth, known as “America’s Hometown”, holds a significant place in American history. Plymouth, located approximately 40 miles South of Boston, is now a popular tourist destination. The Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth is the oldest public museum in continuous operation in the United States.

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Texas: The Sporting District. Owner Sean McNelis opened the San Antonio men’s specialty shop in October 2014. The store’s name is a nod to its location–a part of the city once known by the same name. “The Sporting District” was established in 1889 as a central location for sporting pursuits and legalized vice activities. The shop, which has a distinctly vintage vibe, carries a carefully selected collection of Southern style clothing and accessories. The store is already being recognized as a top shopping destination in San Antonio. In February 2015, The Sporting District was selected “Best of the City” Menswear.
San Antonio was founded in 1718. The city was the site of the historic Battle of the Alamo, a key event in the Texas Revolution. San Antonio is currently the seventh largest city in the United States. The city’s booming economy is largely driven by health care and the military. San Antonio’s famed Riverwalk is a popular tourist destination. The city is also home to the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.
Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Missouri: Kim Kuehner Sportswear. Kim Kuehner opened the store over 20 years ago. The friendly staff is eager to help you find a classic casual look.
St. Louis, named after Louis IX of France, was founded in 1764. The city is commonly called the “Gateway to the West”. St. Louis is internationally known for the Gateway Arch, the tallest arch in the world. The arch is said to embody the pioneer spirit of those responsible for the westward expansion of the United States. St. Louis is home to three professional sporting teams, including the 11-time World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals.
