Feature Friday – Steinbeck’s Men’s Shop

steinbecksToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in North Carolina: Steinbeck’s Men’s Shop. Frank Steinbeck, Sr. opened the store in Greenville in 1957. Steinbeck’s is now a second-generation family business. The shop carries a wide range of menswear – from sportswear to formal wear.

Greenville is located in eastern North Carolina. The city was recently named one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People” (America’s Promise Alliance) and was ranked in the top ten of the nation’s “Best Small Places for Business and Careers” (Forbes Magazine). Greenville is home to East Carolina University (Frank Steinbeck, Jr.’s alma mater).

Feature Friday – John’s Island Club

johns island clubToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Florida: John’s Island Club. Located in Vero Beach, John’s Island Club is a private, member-owned club. The club features dining facilities, three golf courses, tennis courts, squash courts, croquet lawns, pools, a fitness center, and a busy calendar of social and recreational activities.

Vero Beach is part of Florida’s Treasure Coast along the Atlantic coast. Vero Beach is home to several resorts. The Indian River Lagoon, a popular site for water sports, passes through Vero Beach.

Feature Friday – Cuff to Collar

Cuff to CollarToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Kentucky: Cuff to Collar. David Stanek and Justin Dixon were fraternity brothers at Eastern Kentucky University. After graduation, they envisioned opening a men’s store to service the Richmond community. That vision became a reality in January of 2016. The shop, inspired by the motto “Southern Meets Sophistication”, carries a wide range of popular men’s clothing and accessories, including many American-made brands.

Richmond is located at the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. The city was founded in 1798 by Colonel John Miller, a Revolutionary War soldier. Miller named the site after the city with the same name in Virginia. Richmond, Kentucky is the birthplace of Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead.

 

Feature Friday – Brittons

BrittonsToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in South Carolina: Brittons. Located in Columbia, Brittons was founded in 1952. The shop carries men’s and women’s fine clothing and accessories. The store has been awarded “Best of Columbia” on multiple occasions and was named “best destination shop in South Carolina” by Southern Living Magazine.

Columbia is the capital and largest city in South Carolina. The city is nicknamed “The Capital of Southern Hospitality”. Columbia is home to the largest U.S. Army Training Post – Fort Jackson – and has been the origin of well-known figures in a variety of fields, including Grammy Award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish and Golden Globe-nominated actor Aziz Ansari.
