Feature Friday – Martin Freeman

martin freemanToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Florida: Martin Freeman. Nelson Martin and Harold Freeman opened the store in Sarasota in 2011. The shop’s philosophy is to offer discerning gentlemen classic clothing – “Continuum” style, not a passing fashion. Martin Freeman is consistently recognized as Sarasota’s “Best Men’s Clothing Store”.

Sarasota is located on the western coast of Florida. The city is known for its amenities and resort lifestyle. Sarasota, home to the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, is also known for its connections to the famous circus family – Ringling Brothers.

 

Feature Friday – TJ Bailey’s

TJ Bailey'sToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in North Carolina: TJ Bailey’s. Anita Lupoli opened the men’s store in her hometown, Highlands, in 1985. Over the last thirty years, TJ Bailey’s has expanded to carry women’s clothing, gifts, and art and opened a second location (in nearby Cashiers).

Highlands is located on a plateau in the Appalachian Mountains within the Nantahala National Forest. The town’s location makes it a popular tourist destination. Highlands attractions include shopping, hiking, fishing, and waterfalls.

Feature Friday – Sir Shop

dublin gaToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Georgia: Sir Shop. Sir Shop opened in Dublin in 1975. Now in business for over 40 years, the store has become one of the most trusted menswear shops in central Georgia. The store carries casual and dress wear and prides itself on top-notch customer service.

Dublin, known as “The Emerald City”, was named after the capital of Ireland by its Irish settlers. Dublin still celebrates its Irish heritage today. The city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival is one of the community’s most popular events. (image credit)

Feature Friday – Jeff’s Haberdashery

Jeff'sToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Louisiana: Jeff’s Haberdashery. Established in 1973, Jeff’s Haberdashery (named after its owner, Jeff Chouest) is a family business with two locations in the New Orleans metropolitan area. Jeff opened the first location at only 23 years old and the second just two years later. The stores carry a wide range of menswear – from denim to dress attire – and offer free in-house tailoring services. Jeff, who is widely respected in the menswear industry, was recently featured in MR Magazine.

New Orleans is one of the most unique cities in the United States. Its famous festivals (most notably Mardi Gras), music (considered the birthplace of jazz), cuisine, and French and Spanish Creole architecture make it a popular tourist destination. Feature Friday – Hatlem Churchill

Hatlem ChurchillToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Michigan: Hatlem Churchill. Megan Crandall opened the store in Glen Arbor in 2014. The store’s name, which reflects the classic theme of the shop, is a combination of Megan’s two grandmothers’ maiden names. The seasonal store specializes in fashionable casual clothing for men and women. Megan has also operated a Hatlem Churchill pop-up shop in Traverse City.

Glen Arbor, a popular summer tourist destination, is located between Glen Lake and Lake Michigan along the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore – named the “Most Beautiful Place in America” by Good Morning America. Residents and visitors appreciate the community’s scenic beaches and lake access in the summer. Year-round residents enjoy hunting and snow skiing in the winter.
