Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in New York: Vittorio Menswear. Vittorio Barbagallo founded the store in Rochester in 1972. More than forty years later, the shop remains a family-owned business – now under the direction of Matthew and Jennifer McDermott. Vittorio’s is a tuxedo shop that provides formal wear for all sorts of special occasions.
Rochester is located in western New York and has been home to two of the most influential voices in U.S. history. Frederick Douglass started The North Star, an abolitionist newspaper, in Rochester. Susan B. Anthony, a key leader in the women’s suffrage movement, lived in Rochester. The city has also been the origin of several successful companies, including Kodak, Xerox, and Bausch & Lomb.
Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Illinois: Oliver & Rowan. Joseph Mapes opened his bespoke shop in Chicago in 2013. Mapes is considered one of the top bespoke tailors in the United States and his team consists of craftsmen who grew up in the tailoring business. Oliver & Rowan makes custom clothing for men in Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Washington, DC. New clients are accepted on a referral basis to ensure trust and the utmost customer service.

Chicago’s rich culture – from arts and music to professional sports – makes it a popular tourist destination. Chicago is well-known for its unique cuisine, including its nationally renowned deep-dish pizza. Lou Malnati’s pizza is a Dapper Classics Team favorite.
Today’s Feature Friday spotlights our first retail partner in Iowa: Moorman Clothiers. Scott and Susan Moorman opened Moorman Clothiers in downtown Mason City in 1993. The shop carries a wide range of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. Men of all sizes can shop off the rack at the store or get fit for made-to-measure clothing. In 2005, the Moormans opened a second location in Ames.
Mason City is located in north central Iowa. The city is known as the “River City” due to its location on the Winnebago River. Mason City was the birthplace of Meredith Willson, award-winning composer and playwright. Willson’s most famous work, The Music Man, was inspired by his hometown.
