Today’s Feature Friday spotlights our first retail partner in Iowa: Moorman Clothiers. Scott and Susan Moorman opened Moorman Clothiers in downtown Mason City in 1993. The shop carries a wide range of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. Men of all sizes can shop off the rack at the store or get fit for made-to-measure clothing. In 2005, the Moormans opened a second location in Ames.
Mason City is located in north central Iowa. The city is known as the “River City” due to its location on the Winnebago River. Mason City was the birthplace of Meredith Willson, award-winning composer and playwright. Willson’s most famous work, The Music Man, was inspired by his hometown.
