Feature Friday – Reed’s

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Mississippi: Reed’s. R.W. Reed founded Reed’s in Tupelo in 1905. More than 100 years later, the company he started – now with four locations – is still thriving. Dapper Classics socks can be found at Reed’s Columbus, the company’s largest store. The Columbus location carries men’s traditional and casual clothing and footwear. The store also features an impressive selection of kid’s and women’s clothing and accessories. Reed’s was awarded “Best Men’s Casual Clothing” by Mississippi Magazine this year.

Known by locals as Possum Town, Columbus is located in The Golden Triangle in eastern Mississippi. Columbus was the birthplace of Tennessee Williams, one of America’s most famed playwrights.

Feature Friday – Adams Fine Clothing

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in New Jersey: Adams Fine Clothing. Located in New Providence, Adams Fine Clothing was established in 1958. The shop specializes in custom clothing at a competitive price. The store also stocks a nice variety of men’s clothing and sportswear.

New Providence is located approximately thirty miles from New York City. The town was originally known as “Turkey Town” due to a prevalence of turkeys; however, the town’s name was later changed following an incident at the local Presbyterian Church. Believing that divine intervention had spared the lives of the church’s members when the church’s balcony collapsed, residents renamed the town New Providence.

Feature Friday – Bristol Clothing

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Massachusetts: Bristol Clothing. Buz Yacobian, a tailor with 25 years of experience in menswear, operates Bristol Clothing out of Framingham. Bristol Clothing offers custom clothing to clients in the Greater Boston and New England Area. Buz meets with each client to create one-of-a-kind garments made to the client’s liking.

Framingham is located approximately 30 minutes west of Boston. The town features many beautiful parks. Framingham was used in the filming of Patriots Day and The Company Men.

Feature Friday – Pelican Coast Clothing Company

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Louisiana: Pelican Coast Clothing Company. Located in New Orleans and named after the Pelican State, Pelican Coast Clothing Company opened in 2007. Originally a custom neckwear shop, Pelican Coast has since expanded to offer a full line of men’s and boy’s apparel and accessories, specializing in clothing for a coastal lifestyle. All of the store’s custom designed items are from local artists. Pelican Coast opened a second location in nearby Metairie last year.

New Orleans is one of the most unique cities in the United States. Its famous festivals (most notably Mardi Gras), music (considered the birthplace of jazz), cuisine, and French and Spanish Creole architecture make it a popular tourist destination. New Orleans has several popular nicknames, including NOLA, The Crescent City, and The Big Easy.

Feature Friday – Tom’s Men’s Shop

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in New York: Tom’s Men’s Shop. Tom Antonecchia, a local attorney who grew up in the menswear business, opened the shop in Katonah in 2010. The store specializes in “Tom’s Casual” – menswear that is “comfortable, yet stylish and good looking.” Tom’s offers a relaxing shopping experience and a wide selection of today’s popular brands.

Katonah is located an hour north of New York City. Katonah is home of the John Jay Homestead, the former home of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Katonah is also home to Martha Stewart.
