Feature Friday – Adams Fine Clothing

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in New Jersey: Adams Fine Clothing. Located in New Providence, Adams Fine Clothing was established in 1958. The shop specializes in custom clothing at a competitive price. The store also stocks a nice variety of men’s clothing and sportswear.

New Providence is located approximately thirty miles from New York City. The town was originally known as “Turkey Town” due to a prevalence of turkeys; however, the town’s name was later changed following an incident at the local Presbyterian Church. Believing that divine intervention had spared the lives of the church’s members when the church’s balcony collapsed, residents renamed the town New Providence.

Feature Friday – Bristol Clothing

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Massachusetts: Bristol Clothing. Buz Yacobian, a tailor with 25 years of experience in menswear, operates Bristol Clothing out of Framingham. Bristol Clothing offers custom clothing to clients in the Greater Boston and New England Area. Buz meets with each client to create one-of-a-kind garments made to the client’s liking.

Framingham is located approximately 30 minutes west of Boston. The town features many beautiful parks. Framingham was used in the filming of Patriots Day and The Company Men.

Feature Friday – Pelican Coast Clothing Company

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Louisiana: Pelican Coast Clothing Company. Located in New Orleans and named after the Pelican State, Pelican Coast Clothing Company opened in 2007. Originally a custom neckwear shop, Pelican Coast has since expanded to offer a full line of men’s and boy’s apparel and accessories, specializing in clothing for a coastal lifestyle. All of the store’s custom designed items are from local artists. Pelican Coast opened a second location in nearby Metairie last year.

New Orleans is one of the most unique cities in the United States. Its famous festivals (most notably Mardi Gras), music (considered the birthplace of jazz), cuisine, and French and Spanish Creole architecture make it a popular tourist destination. New Orleans has several popular nicknames, including NOLA, The Crescent City, and The Big Easy.

Feature Friday – Tom’s Men’s Shop

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in New York: Tom’s Men’s Shop. Tom Antonecchia, a local attorney who grew up in the menswear business, opened the shop in Katonah in 2010. The store specializes in “Tom’s Casual” – menswear that is “comfortable, yet stylish and good looking.” Tom’s offers a relaxing shopping experience and a wide selection of today’s popular brands.

Katonah is located an hour north of New York City. Katonah is home of the John Jay Homestead, the former home of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Katonah is also home to Martha Stewart.

 

Feature Friday – Don Alan’s

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Florida: Don Alan’s. Located in downtown Pensacola, Don Alan’s celebrated its 30th year in business last year. The shop carries a wide range of menswear – from casual wear to custom clothing – for men of all ages.

Pensacola is located in the Florida Panhandle. Founded by Spanish explorer Trist├ín de Luna in 1559, Pensacola is considered “America’s First Settlement.” Pensacola is also known as “The City of Five Flags” because it has been ruled by five governments in its history: Spain, France, Great Britain, the United States of America, and the Confederate States of America.

Feature Friday – Circle Seven Outpost and Provisions

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Mississippi: Circle Seven Outpost and Provisions. Fueled by his love of the outdoors, William Pace opened Circle Seven in Madison in 2007. Circle Seven is a men’s and women’s clothing store, specializing in hunting and sportswear. Circle Seven opened a second location, Circle Seven @ Garden & Gun, in Charleston earlier this year.

Madison is a small city in central Mississippi. “The City”, as it is commonly called, was named after President James Madison. Madison is the hometown of Stephen Gostkowski, 2x Super Bowl Champion kicker for the New England Patriots.

 

Feature Friday – Heimie’s Haberdashery

Today’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Minnesota: Heimie’s Haberdashery. Located in downtown St. Paul, Heimie’s opened for business in 1921. The shop, which exudes timelessness with its historic decor, specializes in tailored clothing with an emphasis on traditional classic attire. The store also stocks cigars, hats, travel and hunt gear, and leather goods. The haberdashery’s philosophy is summed up by the Heimie’s Oath.

St. Paul is the capital city of Minnesota. Together with Minneapolis, it is known as the “Twin Cities.” St. Paul was originally called “Pig’s Eye” – after the pioneer Pierre “Pig’s Eye” Parrant – before being renamed by Lucien Galtier, Minnesota’s first Catholic priest. St. Paul was the birthplace of F. Scott Fitzgerald and Charles M. Schulz.
