Feature Friday – Hutton’s Fine Men’s Wear

Hutton'sToday’s Feature Friday spotlights one of our retail partners in Connecticut: Hutton’s Fine Men’s Wear of Ridgefield. Hutton’s was founded in 1875 by William Hutton, a Scottish tailor who had recently immigrated to the United States. Nearing its 140th year in operation, the family-owned business has continued William’s tradition of selling the finest tailored clothing, sportswear, and accessories to men of all ages.  Hutton’s offers tailoring and formal wear rental services.

Ridgefield is a small town at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in western Connecticut. Ridgefield was first settled in 1708. In 1777, the town was the site of the Battle of Ridgefield, a skirmish in the American Revolutionary War. Annual summer events in Ridgefield include a Nutmeg Festival and Antiques Flea Market.
